कौस्तुभेनोरसिस्थेन मणिनाभिविराजितम्‌ । उद्यतेवोदयं शैलं सूर्येणाभिविराजितम्‌,उनके वक्ष:स्थलपर स्थित हुई कौस्तुभभणि अपना प्रकाश बिखेरती हुई उसी प्रकार उनकी शोभा बढाती है, मानो उगते हुए सूर्य उदयाचलको प्रकाशित कर रहे हों

Transliteration

kaustubhenorasi sthena maṇinābhivirājitam | udyatevodayaṁ śailaṁ sūryeṇābhivirājitam ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。胸にカウストゥバ宝珠（Kaustubha）を戴くがゆえに、彼は燦然と輝いた。それは、昇る太陽が東の山を照らすかのようであった。この比喩は神威と吉祥をいっそう高め、光輝を単なる装飾ではなく、内なる卓越と正当なる主権の徴として示している。
