तत्र भक्ष्यान्नपानैस्ते मुदिता: सुसुखोषित: । सुखप्रबुद्धा राजानमुपतस्थुर्युधिष्ठिरम्
tatra bhakṣyānnapānaiste muditāḥ susukhoṣitāḥ | sukhaprabuddhā rājānam upatasthur yudhiṣṭhiram ||
そこで彼らは、食物と珍味と飲み物に満ち足り、心から喜んだ。各々の場所で夜通し安らかに眠り、暁に爽やかに目覚めると、王ユディシュティラに仕えるため参上した。これは、秩序ある振る舞いと、もてなしへの感謝、そして正統の権威への敬意を示すものであった。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct in peaceful society: contentment with what is provided, orderly rest, and respectful attendance upon the king. It implies gratitude for hospitality and disciplined service to legitimate authority as part of ethical social harmony.
After being fed and hosted, the group spends the night comfortably in their allotted places. In the morning they wake refreshed and go to King Yudhiṣṭhira to attend him, indicating a formal return to duty and respectful courtly protocol.
