Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evam uktaḥ sa kṛṣṇena rājā rājīvalocanaḥ | hitārthaṁ sarvalokasya samuttiṣṭhau mahāmanāḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った――クリシュナにそのように告げられると、蓮華の眼をもつ大いなる魂の王は立ち上がり、万民の安寧を願って行動しようとした。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A ruler should respond to wise counsel by taking up action aimed at the welfare of all, embodying dharma through public-spirited responsibility rather than private interest.
After Kṛṣṇa speaks, Yudhiṣṭhira—described as lotus-eyed and great-souled—stands up, signaling readiness to proceed with a course of action meant for the good of everyone.
