स तेन कृतसंस्कारो धर्ममेवाधितस्थिवान् । तथैव च कथामेतां राजन् कथितवांस्तदा
sa tena kṛtasaṃskāro dharmam evādhitiṣṭhivān | tathaiva ca kathām etāṃ rājan kathitavāṃs tadā |
ビーシュマは言った。かくして定められた入門の浄儀（saṃskāra）を受けると、彼はただダルマのみに拠って堅く住した。さらに同じく王よ、そのとき彼は、拾い集めて生きる行（uñchavṛtti）の栄光に結びつくこの物語をも、聖仙チャヤヴァナに語り聞かせたのである。
