स वाचा कर्मणा चैव मनसा च द्विजर्षभ । प्रसादयति भूतानि त्रिविधे वर्त्मनि स्थित:
sa vācā karmaṇā caiva manasā ca dvijarṣabha | prasādayati bhūtāni trividhē vartmani sthitaḥ ||
おお、二度生まれの中の雄牛よ。彼は三つの道に安住し、言葉によって、行いによって、そして心によって、あらゆる生きとし生けるものを満ち足らせる。言・行・意を修行と理解の規律にかなうよう整えることで、周囲の世界に安らぎをもたらす源となるのだ。
ब्राह्मण उवाच
True dharmic excellence is holistic: one should cultivate purity and restraint in speech, action, and mind. When these three are harmonized and grounded in disciplined paths of life, one naturally becomes beneficial and soothing to all beings.
A brāhmaṇa speaker describes the mark of an exemplary person: someone established in a threefold discipline who, by his words, deeds, and inner intention, pacifies and pleases living beings—presenting an ethical ideal typical of Śānti Parva’s instruction.
