अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

मम त्वं नाभितो जात: प्रजासर्गकर: प्रभु: । सृज प्रजास्त्वं विविधा ब्रह्मन् सजडपण्डिता:

mama tvaṁ nābhito jātaḥ prajāsargakaraḥ prabhuḥ | sṛja prajāstvam vividhā brahman sajaḍapaṇḍitāḥ ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「汝は我が臍より生まれし者、婆羅門よ。衆生創造を担うべく任ぜられた、力ある主である。ゆえに種々の生類を創れ——無情と有情、鈍き者と賢き者とをも——世界が満ち、秩序づけられるように。」
