सृज प्रजा: पुत्र सर्वा मुखत: पादतस्तथा । कहा जाता है
sṛja prajāḥ putra sarvā mukhataḥ pādataś tathā |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「わが子よ、口からすべての生類を創り、また同じく足からも創り出せ。」周辺の叙述では、宇宙の主ナーラーヤナがブラフマーを顕現させ、諸々の肢体から万類を生み出すよう命じる。そこには秩序と意図を備えた創造の相が示されている。
