यो होतद्‌ ब्राह्मणो नित्यं शृणुयाद्‌ धारयीत वा । न तस्याध्ययनं नाशमुपगच्छेत्‌ कदाचन,जो ब्राह्मण प्रतेदिन इस अवतार-कथाको सुनता या स्मरण करता है, उसका अध्ययन कभी नष्ट (निष्फल) नहीं होता है

Transliteration

yo hotad brāhmaṇo nityaṁ śṛṇuyād dhārayīta vā | na tasyādhyayanaṁ nāśam upagacchet kadācana ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。婆羅門がこの聖なる物語を日々聴聞するか、あるいは心に保持して憶念するなら、その者のヴェーダ学習と知は、いかなる時も滅びず、決して空しくはならない。
