Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel
vasudhā sañcakampe ca nabhaś na vicacāla ha | niṣprabhāṇi ca tejāṃsi brahmā caivāsanacyutaḥ ||

The verse conveys that when events of great dharmic weight unfold, their significance is mirrored in cosmic disturbances—an ethical reminder that actions and turning points are not merely personal or political, but resonate with the moral order of the world.
Arjuna reports extraordinary portents: the earth quakes, the sky seems unsteady, radiances dim, and even Brahmā appears disturbed—signaling a moment of immense consequence and a disruption felt across the cosmos.
