Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)

प्रादुर्भावं गमिष्यामि तदा$5त्मज्ञानदैशिक: । एवमुक्त्वा हयशिरास्तत्रैवान्तरधीयत

prādurbhāvaṁ gamiṣyāmi tadātmjñāna-daiśikaḥ | evam uktvā hayaśirās tatraivāntaradhīyata ||

ヴィヤーサは語った。「そのとき我は、アートマンの智を授ける霊的導師として汝の前に顕現しよう。」そう言い終えると、馬首の主ハヤグリーヴァはその場で姿を消した。

When duties and divine tasks become overwhelming, the remedy is not mere force but right understanding: guidance grounded in ātma-jñāna (self-knowledge) arrives to stabilize the mind and enable dharmic action.

Hayagrīva promises to manifest in the future as a teacher of self-knowledge when needed, and after giving this assurance he disappears on the spot; Vyāsa reports this speech.
