त्रितोपघाताद वैरूप्यमेकतो<थ द्वितस्तथा । प्राप्स्येते वानरत्वं हि प्रजापतिसुतावृषी,त्रित नामक मुनिके साथ विश्वासघात करनेके कारण एकत और द्वित--ये दो प्रजापतिके पुत्र ऋषि विरूप वानरयोनिको प्राप्त होंगे

Transliteration

tritopaghātād vairūpyam ekato 'tha dvitastathā | prāpsyete vānaratvaṃ hi prajāpatisutāvṛṣī ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「トリタという名の聖仙に対し、欺きの害を加えたゆえに、プラジャーパティより生まれた二人の仙、エーカタとドヴィタは醜形を受け、まことに猿の生を得るであろう。かくして信を裏切る者には相応の報いが下り、恥辱と身分の墜落がその印となる。」
