Educational Q&A

Reverence and disciplined devotion prepare one for divine vision: Nārada approaches holy beings with humility, receives hospitality, and then undertakes japa and strict observances with the aim of beholding the Supreme.

Bhīṣma narrates that Nārada reaches Śvetadvīpa, sees its moon-bright inhabitants, bows to them, is honored by them, and then stays there practicing name-recitation and rigorous disciplines in order to gain the Lord’s दर्शन.
