एवमभ्याहते लोके कालेनोपनिपीडिते । सुमहद् धैर्यमालम्ब्य धर्म सर्वात्मना कुरु,इस प्रकार जब सारा संसार कालसे आहत और पीड़ित हो रहा है, तब तुम महान् धैर्यका आश्रय ले सम्पूर्ण हृदयसे धर्मका आचरण करो
evam abhyāhate loke kālenopanipīḍite | sumahad dhairyam ālambya dharmaṁ sarvātmanā kuru ||
かくして全世界が時（カーラ）に打たれ、圧し潰されるとき、汝は大いなる忍耐と不動の心に寄りかかり、全身全霊をもってダルマを行え—心を尽くし、少しも惜しまずに。
