तस्मात्‌ त्वं शूणु राजेन्द्र यथैतदनुदृश्यते । याथातथ्येन सांख्येषु योगेषु च महात्मसु,इसलिये राजेन्द्र! सांख्य और योगके ज्ञाता महात्मा पुरुषोंके मतमें मोक्षका जैसा स्वरूप देखा जाता है, उसे मैं तुम्हें यथार्थरूपसे बताता हूँ, सुनो

tasmāt tvaṃ śṛṇu rājendra yathaitad anudṛśyate | yāthātathyena sāṅkhyeṣu yogeṣu ca mahātmasu ||

ゆえに、王の中の最上よ、聞け。サーンキヤとヨーガを知る大いなる魂の聖者たちの教えにおいて、解脱(モークシャ)がいかに理解され、いかに直観されるかを、ありのままに汝に語ろう。
