यत: सर्वा: प्रवर्तन्ते सर्गप्रलयविक्रिया: । यच्च शंसन्ति शास्त्रेषु वदन्ति परमर्षय:,संसारकी सृष्टि और प्रलयरूप सारे विकार उसीसे सम्भव होते हैं। महर्षि अपने शास्त्रोंमें उसीकी प्रशंसा करते हैं
yataḥ sarvāḥ pravartante sarga-pralaya-vikriyāḥ | yac ca śaṃsanti śāstreṣu vadanti paramarṣayaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。創造と滅尽という相をもつあらゆる変化は、彼より起こる。聖典が讃えるのも彼であり、至高の仙賢が宣言するのも彼である――輪廻(サンサーラ)の移ろう循環の背後にある、最高の根源へと聞く者を導くために。
भीष्म उवाच
All cosmic change—creation and dissolution—depends on a single supreme source, and the scriptures and great seers consistently direct praise and teaching toward that ultimate reality.
