अदुष्ट॑ वर्तमाने तु हृदयान्तरपूरुषे । तेनैव देवा: प्रीयन्ते सतां मार्गस्थितेन वै,हृदयगुफामें रहनेवाला अन्तर्यामी आत्मा जब दोषभावसे रहित हो जाता है, उस अवस्थामें उसका साक्षात्कार करनेवाला पुरुष सन्मार्गगामी समझा जाता है। उसकी इस स्थितिसे ही देवता प्रसन्न होते हैं

Transliteration

aduṣṭa-vartamāne tu hṛdayāntara-pūruṣe | tenaiva devāḥ prīyante satāṁ mārga-sthitena vai ||

Translation

心の洞窟に住まう内なる人（内在のアートマン）が、過失と悪意を離れて安住するとき、それを悟る者は善き者の道に確立した者と知られる。その内なる清浄と正しい立脚によって、神々は歓喜する。
