तासां दर्प: समभवत्‌ प्रजानां धर्मनाशन: । दर्पात्मनां ततः पश्चात्‌ क्रोधस्तासामजायत

Transliteration

tāsāṁ darpaḥ samabhavat prajānāṁ dharmanāśanaḥ | darpātmanāṁ tataḥ paścāt krodhas tāsām ajāyata ||

Translation

パラーシャラは言った。「その民のうちに、ダルマを滅ぼす驕りが生じた。ひとたび心が驕りに取り憑かれると、そののち怒りが彼らの内に湧き起こった。」
