तं पिबन् पाणिमिन्द्रस्य शतमद्ला व्यवर्धत । स आसीदू द्वादशसमो द्वादशाहेन पार्थिव:,“इन्द्रके उस हाथको पीता हुआ वह बालक एक ही दिनमें सौ दिनके बराबर बढ़ गया। बारह दिनोंमें राजकुमार मान्धाता बारह वर्षकी अवस्थावाले बालकके समान हो गये
taṁ piban pāṇim indrasya śatam adlā vyavardhata | sa āsīd dvādaśa-samaḥ dvādaśāhena pārthivaḥ ||
インドラの手から飲むうちに、その子は驚くべき速さで成長し、一日が百日に等しいかのようであった。かくして十二日のうちに、王子マーンダートリ（Māndhātṛ）は十二歳の少年のごとくなった。
