Parāśara’s Counsel on बुद्धि (Discernment), Karma-Consequences, and Avoidance of Pāpānubandha Actions
पितामहपुरोगाश्च सर्वे देवगणास्तथा । ऋषयश्च महाभागास्तद् युद्ध द्र्ठमागमन्
pitāmaha-purogāś ca sarve deva-gaṇās tathā | ṛṣayaś ca mahā-bhāgās tad yuddhaṃ draṣṭum āgaman |
ビーシュマは語った。「祖父神（ブラフマー）を先頭に、神々の一切の群れと、幸い厚き大聖仙たちが、その戦いを見届けるためにそこへ来集した。さらに、すぐれた天の車に乗り、シッダたちとガンダルヴァたちが—アプサラスを伴って—戦闘の驚異に引き寄せられ、到来した。この光景は、ダルマとアダルマに駆り立てられる戦が、天界にさえ見世物となり、人の行いの道徳的重みを省みさせることを示している。」
