तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

अन्यत्र तर्कशास्त्रेभ्य आगमार्थ यथागमम्‌ । मेरे मनमें एक भयानक संशय उठ खड़ा हुआ है

anyatra tarkaśāstrebhya āgamārthaṃ yathāgamam |

カピラは言った。「ただ論争のための論書はひとまず措き、聖なる伝承(アーガマ、Āgama)の意を、その伝承に即して説き明かしてほしい。わが心に恐るべき疑いが起こったが、これを払えるのは汝のみである。汝は、正しき道に安住すれば、この世この時に、ヨーガの道の果を直に見ることができると言った。ゆえに問う。汝が礼拝するものについて、この生において最も明白で、直接に知覚される果とは何か。論駁の理に寄らずにそれを立て、わたしがアーガマの趣旨を真に理解できるようにせよ。」
