तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

निरासैरलसै: श्रान्तैस्तप्यमानै: स्वकर्मभि: । शमस्योपरमो दृष्ट: प्रत्रज्यायामपण्डितै:

nirāśair alasaiḥ śrāntais tapyamānaiḥ svakarmabhiḥ | śamasyoparamo dṛṣṭaḥ pravrajyāyām apaṇḍitaiḥ ||

カピラは言った。「信も志もなく、怠惰で疲れ果て、己が業の果に責め立てられる無智の者どもが、安らぎは出離にのみあると妄想する。彼らは遊行托鉢の道(プラヴラジュヤー)に身を寄せ、家住の戒律には静けさがないと宣言するが、その判断はダルマの真相からではなく、彼ら自身の弱さから生じている。」
