नारद–असित (देवल) संवादः — भूतप्रभवाप्यय, इन्द्रिय-गुण-विवेक, क्षेत्रज्ञ-तत्त्व
यज्ञ वहन्ति सम्भूय सहर्व्विग्भि: सदक्षिणै: । संहृत्यैतानि सर्वाणि यज्ञ निर्वर्तयन्त्युत
yajñaṁ vahanti sambhūya sahar̥tvigbhiḥ sadakṣiṇaiḥ | saṁhr̥tyaitāni sarvāṇi yajñaṁ nirvartayanty uta ||
カピラは祭祀の実際の仕組みを説く。儀礼は共同して推し進められる—執行する祭官（ṛtvij）と、定められたダクシナー（dakṣiṇā、謝礼の供施）と共にである。祭主（yajamāna）は必要な資材をすべて集めて供え、かくして祭祀は正しく成就する。
