कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

वातातपसहो ग्रीष्मे न च धर्ममविन्दत । दुःखशय्याश्व विविधा भूमौ च परिवर्तते
vātātapasaho grīṣme na ca dharmam avindata | duḥkhaśayyāś ca vividhā bhūmau ca parivartate ||
ビーシュマは言った。「夏には熱風と灼けつく太陽に耐えたが、それでも真のダルマには到らなかった。彼は痛みを伴うさまざまな寝床に身を横たえ、裸の大地の上を転げ回った—多様な形で苦難を抱きしめたが—義の真実の理解は彼の内に生じなかった。」
