अभावं हि न गच्छेयुरुच्छिन्नप्रजना: प्रजा: । अधिदैवे नियुक्तोडस्मि त्वया लोकेश्चरेश्वर

Transliteration

abhāvaṃ hi na gaccheyur ucchinnaprajānāḥ prajāḥ | adhidaive niyukto 'smi tvayā lokeśvareśvara ||

Translation

ナーラダは言った。「もし子孫の系譜が断たれるなら、人々はまったき無へと沈みます。あなたは私を天界の政（まつりごと）に任じられました、諸世界の支配者たちの主よ。ゆえに私は訴えます——この破壊を止めてください。子孫の断絶は、あらゆる存在の完全な消滅を意味するのです。」
