Enumeration of the Properties of the Elements and Cognitive Faculties
ये चैव भावा वर्तन्ते सर्व एष्वेव ते त्रिषु । अन्वर्था: सम्प्रवर्तन्ते रथनेमिमरा इव
ye caiva bhāvā vartante sarva eṣveva te triṣu | anvarthāḥ sampravartante rathanemimarā iva ||
ヴィヤーサは言った。「世に起こるいかなる状態・条件も、すべてはこの三つのグナ（guṇa）のうちにのみ見いだされる。それらは各々の意味と働きに即して進み、車輪の輪縁のように絶え間なく回転し続ける。」
