Adhyātma-krama: Indriya–Manas–Buddhi–Ātman Hierarchy and Citta-Prasāda (आध्यात्मक्रमः)
अधर्मान्त्हिता वेदा वेदधर्मास्तथा55 श्रमा: । विक्रियन्ते स्वधर्मस्था: स्थावराणि चराणि च
adharmāntarhitā vedā vedadharmās tathāśramāḥ | vikriyante svadharmasthāḥ sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca ||
ヴィヤーサは言った。「不義（アダルマ）がはびこるとき、ヴェーダは隠されたかのようになり、ヴェーダの務めと、定められた住期（アーシュラマ）もまた覆い隠される。すると、本来は自らの本性と法に安住するはずのもの—不動のものも動くものも—さえダルマから歪み、万物に道徳と自然の乱れが広がる。」
