Transliteration

ye te rātryahanī pūrvaṁ kīrtite jīvalaukike | tayoḥ saṅkhyāya varṣāgraṁ brāhme vakṣyāmy ahaḥkṣape ||

Translation

ヴィヤーサは言った。「先に人間界について説いた昼夜—その数え方を尺度として、今ここにブラフマーの昼と夜の長さ、そしてその中に含まれる年数の総計を語ろう。」
