जैगीषव्य उवाच या गतिर्या परा काष्ठा या शान्ति: पुण्यकर्मणाम्‌ | तां ते5हं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि महतीमृषिसत्तम,जैगीषव्य बोले--मुनिश्रेष्ठ! पुण्यकर्म करनेवाले महापुरुषोंको जिसका आश्वय लेनेसे उत्तम गति, उत्कर्षकी चरम सीमा और परम शान्ति प्राप्त होती है, उस श्रेष्ठ बुद्धिका मैं तुमसे वर्णन करता हूँ

Transliteration

jaigiṣavya uvāca | yā gatir yā parā kāṣṭhā yā śāntiḥ puṇyakarmaṇām | tāṃ te 'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi mahatīm ṛṣisattama ||

Translation

ジャイギーシャヴヤは言った。「おお、仙人の中の最勝者よ。今、我はその崇高なる智慧を汝に説き明かそう。これに帰依することにより、功徳ある行いの人々は、最高の道、霊的成就の究竟の頂、そして無上の安らぎに至る。」
