त्वयार्चितां मां देवेश पुरो धास्यन्ति देवता: । शचीपते! देवेश्वर! इसीलिये मैं स्वयं तुम्हारे यहाँ आयी हूँ। तुम मेरा अभिनन्दन करो। तुमसे पूजित होनेपर मुझे अन्य देवता भी अपने सम्मुख स्थापित (एवं सम्मानित) करेंगे
tvayārcitāṁ māṁ deveśa puro dhāsyanti devatāḥ | śacīpate! deveśvara! tasmād ahaṁ svayam tava gṛham āgatā | māṁ tvam abhinanda | tvayā pūjitāyāṁ mām anye devatā api svāgre sthāpayiṣyanti (sammāpayiṣyanti) |
釈迦羅（インドラ）は言った。「神々の主よ、あなたが私を敬えば、他の神々も私を先頭の座に据えるであろう。舎稚の夫よ、天の覇者よ—ゆえに私は自らここへ来た。しかるべき礼をもって迎えよ。あなたが私を祭り敬えば、他の神々もまた私をその前に置き、尊んでくれる。」
