पूर्णमण्डलमालोक्य तावुत्थायोपतस्थतु: । दोनों एकाग्रचित्त होकर प्राचीन वृत्तान्तोंकी चर्चा कर ही रहे थे कि किरणजालसे मण्डित भगवान् भास्करका उदय हुआ। सूर्यदेवका सम्पूर्ण मण्डल देख उन दोनोंने खड़े होकर उनका उपस्थान किया
pūrṇamaṇḍalam ālokya tāv utthāyopatasthatuḥ |
ビーシュマは言った。「光の網に飾られた輝けるバースカラ（太陽神）が昇り、その満ちた日輪を見たとき、二人はただちに立ち上がり、古の物語をめぐる集中した語らいをひとまず止めて、恭しく拝し奉った。これは規律を示す。いかに重い議論の最中であっても、時宜にかなった敬礼と正しい作法を保つべきである。」
