क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
ビーシュマは言った。「赦していただきたい、インドラよ。ほどなくして時（カーラ）は汝の上にも及ぶ。われは常に警戒していたにもかかわらず、怠ることなき容赦ない時がこの身を打ったのなら、汝をもまた間もなく打つであろう。この苦い真実を告げたことを許してほしい。」
