(Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara
śakra uvāca | śrīsvāca na māṁ virocano veda nāyaṁ vairocano baliḥ | āhuḥ mā duḥsahety evaṁ vidhitsīti ca māṁ viduḥ ||
Mere lineage or reputation does not guarantee true understanding; even powerful figures may misjudge a higher power’s nature and intent. The verse highlights discernment and the ethical weight of purposeful action (vidhitsā) behind outward force.
Indra (Śakra) speaks about being misunderstood by Virocana and Bali. He notes that others describe him as ‘duḥsaha’ (hard to withstand) and recognize that his actions proceed from deliberate intention, setting a tone of strategic, purposeful agency in the surrounding discourse.
