कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च

Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation

शचीपति इन्द्र! जैसे तुम हो, वैसे ही बल और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न अनेक सहस्र इन्द्र समाप्त हो चुके हैं ।।

Transliteration

tvām apy atibalaṃ śakra devarājaṃ balotkaṭam | prāpta-kāle mahāvīryaḥ kālaḥ saṃśamayīṣyati ||

Translation

シャチーの主インドラに告げられた。「汝のごとく力と武勇に満ちた幾千のインドラも、すでに終焉に至った。おおシャクラよ、汝は自らをこの上なく強大なる者、天界の王、猛き力の持ち主と思うであろう。だが定めの時が来れば、大いなる威力をもつ時（カーラ）が、汝をも鎮めてしまう。」
