Transliteration

taṁ baliṁ nādhigacchāmi bradyājñā caśva me balim |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「あのバリ王が見当たらぬ。婆羅門よ、バリはどこにいるのか告げてくれ。彼は風のごとく巡り、ヴァルナのごとく雨を降らせ、日月のごとく輝き、火のごとく万有を温め、水のごとく万人の渇きを癒した王であった——それなのに、わたしはどこにも彼を見いだせぬのだ。」
