तथा मुमूर्षमासीनमकूजन्तमचेतसम् । इन्द्र: शूगालरूपेण बभाषे लुब्धभानसम्
tathā mumūrṣam āsīnam akūjantam acetasaṃ | indraḥ śūgālarūpeṇa babhāṣe lubdhabhānasam ||
死を望んでそこに座し—気を失い、意識もなく、口もきかず—しかも内には財への貪欲が燃えさかっているのを見て、インドラはジャッカルの姿となり、その貪り深い男にこう語りかけた。
