समवैक्षत त॑ विप्रो ज्ञानदीर्घेण चक्षुषा । ददर्श चैनं देवानां देवमिन्द्र शचीपतिम्,ऐसा कहकर ब्रह्मर्षिने उसकी ओर ज्ञानदृष्टिसे देखा। तब उसके रूपमें इन्हें देवदेव शचीपति इन्द्र दिखायी दिये
samavaikṣata taṁ vipro jñānadīrgheṇa cakṣuṣā | dadarśa cainaṁ devānāṁ devam indraṁ śacīpatim ||
ビーシュマは言った。ブラーフマナの聖仙は、霊知の遠く及ぶ眼で彼を見つめた。するとその同じ姿のうちに、神々の主にして天界の王、シャチーの夫なるインドラが、彼の前に顕現したのである。
