सर्वे लाभा: साभिमाना इति सत्यवती श्रुति: । संतोषणीयरूपो5सि लोभाद् यदभिमन्यसे
sarve lābhāḥ sābhimānā iti satyavatī śrutiḥ | santoṣaṇīya-rūpo 'si lobhād yad abhimanyase ||
ビーシュマは言った。「あらゆる利得には我慢（おごり）が伴う—真実を語るシュルティはそう宣言する。汝の本性は本来、知足にふさわしい。だが貪欲ゆえに、汝はそれを否み、別のものと思いなすのだ。」
