Adhyāya 174: Karma as an inescapable companion (कर्मानुगमन-उपदेश)

विसर्जयित्वा सधनं प्रविवेश स्वमालयम्‌ । फिर बकराज राजधर्माने उस पापाचारीको धनसहित विदा करके अपने घरमें प्रवेश किया

visarjayitvā sadhanaṁ praviveśa svam ālayam |

ビーシュマは言った。「彼をその財とともに退けたのち、王は自らの宮邸へと入った——これは、為政者が悪人を処断したなら、私情にとらわれず事を結び、王者の法(ラージャ・ダルマ)の規律と道徳の秩序を保つべきことを示している。」
