Transliteration

kārtikyām adya bhoktāraḥ sahasraṃ me dvijottamāḥ | tatrāyam api bhoktā ca deyam asmai ca me dhanam ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「今日、カールティキーの斎日に、私は千人の優れたバラモンを供養して食を施す。そこにこの者も食を受ける者として加えよ。さらに我が財より、彼にも布施を与えるべきである。」
