ビーシュマは語った。「かく思惟したところ、そのとおりに成った。すなわち、力強き剣が顕現したのだ。」
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores that deliberate intention and sustained reflection can bring about real-world consequences; when the object is a weapon like a sword, it implicitly warns that mental resolve toward violence can manifest powerful, far-reaching results, demanding ethical restraint and discernment.
Bhishma, speaking in the Shanti Parva, states that what he had contemplated has come to pass, and he refers to the sword as a powerful outcome—suggesting a moment where reflection leads to the emergence or deployment of a potent instrument within a broader discussion on governance, conduct, and the regulation of force.
