यच्च पैतामहं स्थान ब्रह्म॒राशिसमुद्धवम्‌ । गुहायां पिहित॑ नित्यं तद्‌ दमेनाभिगम्यते,ब्रह्मराशिसे उत्पन्न हुआ जो पितामह ब्रह्माजीका उत्तम धाम है, वह हृदयगुहामें छिपा हुआ है। उसकी प्राप्ति सदा दम (इन्द्रियसंयम और मनोनिग्रह) से ही होती है

Transliteration

yac ca paitāmahaṃ sthānaṃ brahma-rāśi-samudbhavam | guhāyāṃ pihitaṃ nityaṃ tad damenābhigamyate ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「梵の源より生じた、至高にして祖源の住処は、つねに心の洞窟に隠されている。それはただ“ダマ”（dama）――感官を規律して抑え、心を揺るぎなく統御すること――によってのみ到達される。」
