जनमेजय उवाच अनुतप्ये च पापेन न च धर्म विलोपये । बुभूषुं भजमानं च प्रीतिमानू भव शौनक

Transliteration

janamejaya uvāca | anutapye ca pāpena na ca dharma-vilopaye | bubhūṣuṁ bhajamānaṁ ca prītimān bhava śaunaka ||

Translation

ジャナメージャヤは言った。「おお、シャウナカよ。私は自らの罪ゆえに深く悔いている。もはや二度とダルマが損なわれることを許さぬ。真の安寧と解脱を願うゆえ、どうかこの帰依する求道者たる我に、慈しみと好意を垂れ給え。」
