Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
देहान् पुराणानुत्सृज्य नवान् सम्प्रतिपद्यते । एवं मृत्युमुखं प्राहुर्जना ये तत्त्वदर्शिन:
dehān purāṇān utsṛjya navān sampratipadyate | evaṁ mṛtyumukhaṁ prāhur janā ye tattvadarśinaḥ ||
アルジュナは言った。「古い身体を捨てて、新たな身体を受け取る。そのように、真実を見抜く者たちは、死を滅びではなく、ただ別の境地へ入ること——避けがたい通過にすぎぬと説く。」
