Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
सुखेन धर्म श्रीमन्तश्नरन्ति शुचिवासस: । संवर्षन्त: फलैदनिर्भुज्जनाश्षान्नमुत्तमम्
sukhena dharmaṁ śrīmantas caranti śucivāsasaḥ | saṁvarṣantaḥ phalaiḥ dhānyair bhujānāś cānnam uttamam ||
アルジュナは言った。「富み栄え、清らかな衣をまとう者は、安らかにダルマを実践する。上等の食を味わいながらも、果実と穀物の豊穣を—まるで『雨』のように—もたらし、その富と整った暮らしによって人々を支えるのだ。」
