तयोरर्थ कृतज्ञा सा खेचरी पूजनी सदा । समुद्रतीरं सा गत्वा आजहार फलद्धयम्,आकाशमें विचरनेवाली वह कृतज्ञ पूजनी चिड़िया प्रतिदिन समुद्रतटपर जाकर वहाँसे उन दोनों बच्चोंके लिये दो फल ले आया करती थी
tayor artha-kṛtajñā sā khecarī pūjanī sadā | samudra-tīraṁ sā gatvā ājahāra phala-dvayam ||
ビーシュマは言った。受けた恩に報いようと、天空を翔けるその鳥—常に礼拝に値するもの—は毎日海辺へ赴き、二人の子のために果実を二つ持ち帰った。
भीष्म उवाच
The verse teaches kṛtajñatā—gratitude that remembers a received kindness and repays it through consistent, beneficial action. True dharma is shown not by words but by reliable care and service.
