एवमाश्वचासितो विद्वान् माजरिण स मूषिक: । मार्जारोरसि विस्रब्ध: सुष्वाप पितृमातृवत्
evam āśvāsitaḥ vidvān mārjāriṇā sa mūṣikaḥ | mārjārorasi visrabdhaḥ suṣvāpa pitṛ-mātṛ-vat ||
かくして学識ある猫に言葉巧みに安心させられると、疑いを解いた鼠は、父母の膝に抱かれる幼子のように、猫の胸の上で無心に眠りに落ちた。
