मुक्तश्न व्यसनादस्मात् सौम्याहमपि नाम ते । प्रीतिमुत्पादयेयं च प्रीतिकर्तुश्न॒ सत्क्रियाम्
muktaś ca vyasanād asmāt, saumyāham api nāma te | prītim utpādayeyaṃ ca, prītikartuś ca satkriyām ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おだやかなる者よ、汝がこの災厄から解き放たれたなら、我もまた汝の心に親愛を芽生えさせよう。汝は我を喜ばせんとして行ったゆえ、ふさわしい敬意と饗応をもって汝を遇する。」
