त॑ सम्पूज्याथ पलितं मार्जार: सौहदे स्थित: । स विचिन्त्याब्रवीद् धीर: प्रीतस्त्वरित एव च
taṁ sampūjyātha palitaṁ mārjāraḥ sauhade sthitaḥ | sa vicintyābravīd dhīraḥ prītastvarita eva ca ||
ビーシュマは言った。白髪のパリタをしかと敬い讃え、友好の態度を固めた猫は、慎重に思案してから、落ち着きと満足をたたえつつ、ただちに語り出した。
भीष्म उवाच
