Transliteration

tenānucaratā tasmin vane viśvastacāriṇā | bhakṣyaṁ mṛgayamāṇena cirād dṛṣṭaṁ tad āmiṣam ||

Translation

ビーシュマは語った。「その森を、次第に安心して歩き回り、食を求めていた彼は、久しくしてようやく罠の上に撒かれた餌の肉を見つけた。鼠は罠に乗り、その肉を食べ始めたのである。」
