अथवा पूर्ववैरं त्वं स्मरन् काल॑ जिहीषसि । पश्य दुष्कृतकर्मस्त्वं व्यक्तमायु:क्षयं तव
athavā pūrvavairaṃ tvaṃ smaran kālaṃ jihīṣasi | paśya duṣkṛtakarmas tvaṃ vyaktam āyuḥkṣayaṃ tava ||
ビーシュマは言った。「あるいは、昔の怨みを思い出して、ここで時をむだに費やしたいのか。見よ、罪業に手を染める者よ——お前の終わりは明らかに近づいている。お前の寿命は確かに削られ尽くしつつある。」
